Biography

Curtis Cowgill is an award winning photographer specializing in nature and wildlife photography. He currently conducts photo workshops for the Central Bucks YMCA, presents multi-media shows, leads photo tours to Glacier National Park and Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, and exhibits his work at local art shows.
His images have been published in several places including newspapers, church directories, educational pamphlets, billboards at the Philadelphia Zoo and book covers. He was profiled in a local newspaper in March 2004. Also, several of his images were selected by Konica-Minolta for use in national trade shows. He is a resident of Doylestown , PA and has photographed extensively on the northeastern and western coasts as well as in Canada, England, Wales, France, and Tuscany.
Curtis Cowgill's signature works seem to be his reflections-coral mountains mirrored in clear lakes and long- legged stilts bathed in golden light and reflected in still pools.
He currently conducts photography workshops and digital imaging classes. He leads photography tours to Glacier National Park and Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge.
His images have been seen in his highly rated multimedia shows, on the covers of books, and in local exhibits. In addition, his work has been published extensively by the Philadelphia Zoo. Curtis has been a nuclear engineer but is now a full time photographer. He lives in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
